APVMA to speak on quality and Good Manufacturing Practice at VMDA seminar

Quality assurance and quality management issues are key elements of Good Manufacturing Practice for the veterinary medicines industry.

In response to industry requests for information on topics related to Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, these issues will be discussed in a seminar on 'Quality Assurance and Quality Management' hosted by the Veterinary Manufacturers and Distributors Association (VMDA) with the support of the APVMA.

The one day seminar will be held in three locations around Australia on:

  • 14 February – Sydney
  • 15 February – Melbourne
  • 16 February – Brisbane

Manufacturers and other interested parties are invited to attend one of the workshops at the venue of their choice.

APVMA staff from the Manufacturing Quality and Licensing team will present at each of these seminars on a range of issues including:

  • achieving better outcomes from APVMA audits.
  • understanding APVMA requirements and expectations in quality assurance and risk management matters.
  • clarifying the issues surrounding overseas Good Manufacturing Practice.

The APVMA welcomes suggestions for specific questions for discussion at the seminars. Please send suggestions by email to the APVMA at by 30 January 2012.
